SW corner of Homer Street and Smithe, Harrison Galleries makes a great location for artists from the Sunshine Coast to meet their friends and contacts while in Vancouver.
They now have a nice coffee spot and all the little nooks and crannies and small rooms make good quiet intimate venues to gather a small group together and chat away merrily while sipping their coffees. They have wireless internet, couches, tables and chairs and can gang tables together quickly if you bring them a small crowd. The past few times I have popped in there, there have been some very interesting little groups meeting so I asked about this. Of course you can host a great big event here too but it's a good place to keep in the back of our minds when we need to meet with people in Vancouver.
